This convenient bench by the Severn Valley Railway is by a secluded track which leads alongside the railway towards the Country Park Halt (about four hundred metres off to the right). The Severn Valley Country Park is an excellent spacious and scenic (but hilly) area open to the public and covering three linked sites on both sides of the River Severn. Open grassland and woodland have way-marked routes to enjoy, many fully usable by wheel-chair visitors. The area this side of the river is a former coal mining site. Steam hauled trains will stop (by request) at the Country Park Halt. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severn_Valley_Country_Park
