A development of apartments on Solomon's Passage was completed in 2012. It comprised a mix of social and private housing, developed by a housing association. Since being completed, serious problems with the buildings have been identified. The development has been emptied, with residents moving elsewhere. The block nearest the camera, and the one at the far end of the development, are to be refurbished. However, the problems affecting the two blocks in between are so severe that, even though they are less than 10 years old, they will have to be demolished and rebuilt. Purple hoardings surround the empty buildings.
