Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300012486-ivy-house-the-cnapan-restaurant-newport#.Xa_8CuhKhPY in 1992, The Ivy House is described as the "best early C19 house in Newport with good doorcase details" and occupies a commanding position at the east end of the main street through the town.
