The occasion was the 50th anniversary (1969-2019) of a flight made by a now retired airline pilot in this aeroplane, Cessna 150 GAVUH, at Skywork Ltd., a small flight school then based at Stansted Airport. Skywork operated two Cessna 150's, this one (then one year old) and GAWOT, plus a Piper Comanche. So the pilot returned to the airport 50 years later in this same aircraft.
