Prior to the Brexit, this redundant police station in Charlotte Street was scheduled to be sold on the local council for housing a community centre. Following on the poll the Border Issue reemerged and it was decided to retain hold on the building to act as a possible Customs administrative centre for the Newry sector of the Border. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-44141398
