Carved slate milestone built into the north west railway bridge parapet north of the Crimea Pass/Bwlch y Gorddinan alongside the A470. Caernarvon chamfered slate, probably late C19th and erected by the County Council. It also has a number of graffiti initials, presumably from passers by. Inscription reads:- MILES FESTINIOG 7 DOLWYDDELAN 1½ BETTWSYCOED 7½ LLANRWST 11 Milestone Society National ID: CAE_BFBY07
