This used to be the Perseverance public house, with the first recorded licensee having been Laurence Dawes from 1859 to 1865. It was closed in April 2015 with the plan to re-open as a function bar for hire. It is currently known as the Fat Percy and owned by the Fat Cat Inns, who purchased it in 2016 and run it as a private function venue.
