This new development is expected to be open for business before Christmas. In the centre, with a flat roof, is a Marks & Spencer Food Hall; to the right of it with a curved roof is Turnbull's of Alnwick, the butcher and on the far right is Starbucks. In the distance, beyond Willowburn Avenue, is HOMEBASE. It is hoped that the Willowburn Retail Park will establish Alnwick as a destination shopping location for the surrounding area and create new employment opportunities and in general have a positive effect on the local economy.
