The Pine Shop here occupies the former workshop and village forge, which dates from the mid 19th century, and was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101228113-workshop-at-number-7-and-wall-at-numbers-9-and-9a-mountsorrel#.XZ4890ZKjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1228113 in 1978, with the rubblestone wall stretching along the road to the right.
