This is Bridge No 12 on the Macclesfield Canal. There is a short arm off the main line here south of Bridge No 11, originally built to serve the local coal mine. The Grade II listed bridge carries the towpath across its entrance. The arm is used as private moorings by the North Cheshire Cruising Club.
