Runners in the final iteration of the popular Pattingham Bells cross country race, here approaching the last few metres of their races. The three ladies in the foreground have been round the 5km course (blue race numbers) whilst two men in the background have just about finished the 10km (red numbers). The previous night sluiced down with several hours of heavy rain, making parts of the course a little soft, so we all brought a good dose of Staffordshire mud home with us. Excellent fun.
