I have passed before but never really noted the plaque detailing its chequered history; an early Baptist chapel it was founded in 1740! Rebuilt and expanded I expect in 1815, restored in 1905, destroyed by fire in 1954 and rebuilt as we see it today in 1957! And still in use I hope.
