This church was restored in 1854 by members of the Gilbert family. Its registers date from 1559 and the record of clergy dates back to 1270, indicating that a church stood here during Norman times. Today, the arch above the priest door is the only remnant of its Norman origins. This church is open every day. http://www.norfolkchurches.co.uk/cantley/cantley.htm
