Harvey's are local, old-established, and highly thought-of. It's worth mentioning, though, that these days they face competition from a younger generation of Sussex breweries, such as Long Man at Litlington (very local) and Dark Star at Partridge Green (further afield). The image harks back to leisurely, innocent days. I hardly dare suggest it, but could it be that these days we take cricket too seriously?
