Built in the 1960s, but replacing an earlier inn with the same name; the former Seven Stars Inn had been destroyed by bombing in the Second World War and the licensee owned the plot of land where this inn was built, close to the then cattle market. http://www.exetermemories.co.uk/em/_pubs/seven_stars.php
