The confluence of the River Teme and River Severn. The Teme can be seen joining the Severn on the far side of the river. It is approximately here that Cromwell's Parliamentarian forces crossed both the Severn and Teme with a pontoon bridge during the Battle of Worcester on 3 September 1651
