Numbers 11, 13 and 15 Fairbank are three early 19th century houses. Number 11 (nearest the camera) and number 13 have interesting doorways whilst the entrance to number 15 is at the rear. Granted a market charter in 1227, the town at one time had 29 inns and alehouses of which several survive. The town is rich in historic buildings with over 150 listed.
