Umbrellas over Butcher's Row, Banbury

It is not entirely clear exactly what significance these umbrellas suspended over Butcher's Row have, but their presence seems to be part of a 'Banbury rain or shine' theme initiated as part of the Banbury Improvement District - another street has sunny faces. In any case they are a little quirky and make for a talking point.
