Looking towards The Golden Lion hotel https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1342241 one of the oldest buildings in Hunstanton probably designed by William Butterfield and the Cross https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1077949 brought here from Old Hunstanton to act as a focal point for the new (i.e. mid nineteenth century) new town.
