From Ealing Broadway and Ruislip to White City station and this point the London Underground Central Line is on the surface. At this point it goes under Wood Lane station on the Circle and Hammersmith & City line. It goes down to Shepherd's Bush station where it has become a deep line. The structure on the left is the street level entry to Wood Lane station - pedestrians seen beyond it are on the pavement of Wood Lane. Photo Image shows this area from a terrace of Westfield shopping centre.
