The name of a former occupier - Clegstyle Plastic Vacuum Formers - can still be seen above that of the present (or most recent) use. The elegant curved panel in the centre of the building suggests perhaps an art-deco influence, dating it to the early 20th century, but even larger scale old maps don't give any clue to when it was built or its original use. Behind it was the Victoria Iron Foundry
