Built 1752 through proceeds from the Countess of Oxfordshire. The ground floor was originally open with the building carried on columns to provide shelter for the market, the space becoming enclosed by about 1800. Listed Grade II. Detail of the arms of the Countess in the central pediment, recently restored. (A pity that it has to be covered with pigeon netting.)
