The old hall, built around the post-war period for the Co-operative, has been left to rot. In a past life, it was used by the Ministry of Labour and National Service. The last occupiers are long gone and the arsonists have caused a lot of damage to the rear, especially the roof. With the likelihood of demolition soon the writing is on the wall.
