Ilchester is, to me, like Tarporley, in that it's fame lies mainly in a reference in a comedy show, in this case 'The Cheese Shop' sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus (- What is the most popular cheese in the district? - Ilchester, sir, staggeringly popular.).
