This is the site seen in Image, photographed from a Cross City Line train approaching New Street. In the background is the post-war housing that lies between Windsor Street South and Barrack Street. On the left are Birmingham City University buildings. I'm not sure what area of Birmingham to call this: Vauxhall, perhaps; it seems beyond the recently-coined Eastside.
