They say you get like your father as you get older, but I remember the first time I went in here in for a pint thinking "Now that's what I call a pub." Regulars to my photos will know I am ambivalent about the smoking ban. Little boozers like this seem lost without it, whereas the big chain pubs are now much more attractive for such outings as a pub lunch with an aged aunt.
