Caves near Overton, Frodsham

These sandstone caves are a well-known landmark on the east side of Manley Road, just south of Frodsham. The photo was taken at 09:38 on the 11th April, 2004. The enclosure is part of a local dairy farm and consequently the caves are often used for shelter by cattle, whose tracks are clearly visible.
