The Canmore website describes this feature as a stone circle 27ft in diameter, consisting of six large upright stones, set on a clearly defined mound above the surrounding ground level. Stones cleared from nearby fields have been added to the interior. The site dates from the late Neolithic Age or early Bronze Age.
