From the lychgate. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6250525 St James is in the Church in Wales Rectorial Benefice of Llantwit Major in the Diocese of Llandaff. Cadw records that the church is in the Early English style with some Norman features. Grade II (Star) Listed as a small rural church with early 12th century origins.
