Empty and steadily decaying since 1998, the extant grade II listed parts of The Robin Hotel have been an eyesore in Newark for 21 years .... testament to the impasse between the developers and the Planning Authority, Newark & Sherwood District Council. Contrast this with January 2008 https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/665706 This short series of photographs taken in August 2019 anticipate the recent news that the site is to be developed in to a 66-bedroom Travelodge Hotel.
