The driveway leads to the mansion house Dineiddwg. The house, as well as these gates and gatepiers were designed by the architectural firm Honeyman, Keppie and Mackintosh between about 1903 and 1906. They are Category B listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB15337.
