The former Post Office located on the corner of Norn Hill and Coronation Road. Notice how the owner has painted out the 'PO' and the 'ICE' of post office and then added white tape to the 'FF' to convert the letters to 're'. The end result is a neat 'STORE'. This shop has managed to survive the closure of small local post offices by taking advantage of the influx of migrant labour from Eastern Europe over the past two years. Several shelves are now dedicated to Polish products ranging from bread to pickles to smoked meats.
