A road I walked along to and from work most days of the week for 20 years. The bungalows, on this eastern side of the road, are set back behind neat front gardens. This next garden has a pair of New Zealand Cabbage Trees, alias Torbay Palms (Cordyline australis). This is roughly the site of Agatha Christie's birthplace and childhood home, Ashfield, which was demolished in 1962.
