Rydal Mount was the home of William Wordsworth from 1813 to 1850. The original house (east block) is late 16th century. The west wing is 17th century. The cross-wing is circa 1700 and the block between the original house and the west wing is mid 18th century. The house is open to the public and is listed, grade I, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1271835
