The Georgian house at Hatchlands was built in 1756, replacing a Tudor house on the estate. The first owner was Admiral Boscawen. Today the house is a National Trust property. The highlights for visitors are splendid interiors by Robert Adam and the Cobbe Collection of 42 historic keyboard instruments.
