Obelisk, Helmingham Park

The obelisk dates from c.1860 and is about 20m high. The mound on which it stands was part of an C18 wilderness garden in which there was once a brick-built summerhouse. When the latter was demolished together with a brick wall, the bricks were re-used in the obelisk.
