Looking east, this is the Trent and Mersey Canal west of Colwich Lock. The railway line from Stafford joins the line from Stoke less than a hundred metres ahead, then continues towards Rugeley and Lichfield. (West Coast Main Line - Trent Valley). The rolling stock crossing the bridge is of Bachmann double-deck for transport of cars.
