An OS cutmark on the front face of no 48 New Street, which was originally levelled as part of the First Primary Levelling of England & Wales in the mid 1850s, at which time it was given 268.1190 feet above Liverpool Datum. It was most recently re-levelled in 1966 at 81.601m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn.
