Old boundary stone at High House farm

Lying on its side at the base of a drystone wall is this boundary stone marking the edge of the old Forest of Knaresborough. The stone is inscribed 'KF 1767', although in this case it is difficult to read. One might guess that the stone predates the wall and that some wall builder in the 19th century might have decided that this would be a good strong stone to incorporate into the base of the wall.
