A rather imposing early 19th century town house, probably built around an earlier dwelling, which attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101206609-7-the-gorge#.XUSLP-hKjcs & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1206609 in 1974.
