The house was built in the late 18th century, and clearly the roof has fairly recently been repaired and tidied up; the whole was Category B listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200380944-6-high-street-anstruther-wester-kilrenny#.XT2aZ-hKjcs in 1972.
