Originally known as Balgonie, a name which has now been reapplied to the house; it was known as the Scoonie Manse in the early 1960s when it was acquired by the Church of Scotland for a while. Previously, during WW2, it had housed Polish army officers. Category C listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200393836-links-road-scoonie-manse-with-boundary-walls-leven#.XTy4NehKjcs in 1999.
