The 'jewel in the crown' of Buxton's 18th century architecture. The work of architect John Carr, The Crescent is Grade I listed - described at this https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1257876. Currently undergoing a £50 million pound restoration project. In the background may be seen the Devonshire Dome and clock tower.
