A train leaving Stogumber for Crowcombe Heathfield and Bishop’s Lydeard. The railway has climbed 85m from sea level but the summit at Crowcombe is a further 30m up on gradients of 1 in 100 or steeper. Note: a Photographer’s Lineside Pass has to be obtained from the railway’s office at Minehead for shots such as this on railway property
