One small part of a much larger terrace of houses & shops built along the east side of Bell Street between 1847 and 1858 by the architect George Rae. They were given a collective Category C listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200386956-5-33-bell-street-st-andrews#.XTAWQOhKhPY in 1971 .
