National Express West Midlands 2227, an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC, lays over outside the Cooperative Food shop that was formerly the Gospel Oak pub; it is on route 4A to Birmingham city centre via Acocks Green and Warwick Road. I still cannot get used to NXWM single deckers with 2xxx numbers; to me, 2227 is still an MCW Metrobus mk1 (one of the small batch with Rolls Royce engines that were at Acocks Green garage and would therefore have been regular visitors here).
