No 15 occupies part of the row of houses & shops built between 1847 and 1858 along the east side of Bell Street by the architect George Rae; they attracted a Category C listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200386959-5-33-bell-street-st-andrews#.XS7Ge-hKhPY in 1971.
