Both sides of an alleyway/footpath between Coltman Street and Bean Street were adorned with murals in April 2019. The previously rather grim and litter-strewn passage was decorated by Hull-based artist Lydia Caprani https://www.lydiacaprani.com/about , with the support of the 'Absolutely Cultured' organisation, set up to extend the legacy of the City of Culture tenure in 2017.
