Barnes Pond is one of the best-known features of Barnes. It has attractive surroundings and is popular with birds. The area between Church Road and the pond was brightened up with a wildflower mix in the summer of 2019. This view looks across Church Road. The impressive building on the other side was formerly a bank. See also https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6210926
