Opened in 1856 by the Staines, Wokingham and Woking Junction Railway on the line from Staines to Wokingham. The station was called "Ascot & Sunninghill" between 1857 and 1921. View east towards Sunningdale and Staines, 2 years after the new footbridge and fencing appeared.
